Healthy Pumpkin Spice Latte

Equipment: coffee maker, frother, mug


Ingredients:

  • ½ cup almond milk  
  • 1 tablespoon pumpkin puree 
  • 1 teaspoon coconut sugar 
  • ¼ teaspoon pumpkin pie spice 
  • Splash of vanilla extract 
  • 1 cup of brewed coffee 

Directions:

  1. Combine all the ingredients except for the coffee in a frother.  
  2. Set frother to the hot setting.  
  3. Pour the liquid into a mug with the brewed coffee and enjoy! 

Variations:

  • Use plant-based milk or regular dairy milk instead of almond milk. 
  • Use maple syrup or honey instead of coconut sugar.  
  • Add ice if you prefer an iced latte. 

Notes:

  • Does not store well so best to enjoy it fresh.

Nutrition Notes:

  • Pumpkin is an excellent source of beta carotene and zinc.  
  • Almond milk is rich in vitamin E.
