Ingredients:
- Pork spare ribs (cut into 1.5-2 inch pieces): 12 oz
- Daikon (white radish) (One 2lb daikon washed, peeled and cut into 1-1.5 inch chunks):
- Salt: 1/2 tsp
- Water: 8 cups
Directions:
- Blanch the pork in boiling water for 5 minutes to clean and remove blood.
- Put all the ingredients into a large pot and add 8 cups of water.
- Make sure the water covers all the ingredients by 1 inch.
- Bring the water to a boil on medium high heat.
- About 30 minutes later, reduce heat to low and simmer for about 20 minutes or until the pork is tender.
- Season with salt to taste.
