What It Is
The WorkWell Center provides confidential, no-cost counseling for personal and work-related concerns. These services are provided by licensed clinical providers to assess, consult, and conduct brief supportive counseling, crisis interventions, care management, benefit guidance, and resource and referral. Clinical staff are highly skilled in the areas of crisis intervention, critical incident, high-risk personal and work circumstances, stress management, self-care, and ways to improve faculty and staff health and well-being in the workplace.
We offer an assessment and five short-term individual counseling sessions to USC faculty and staff. Assessment determines clinical and workplace needs and solutions offering access to referrals and resources to address these needs. Resources include the mental health benefits from medical insurance plans and USC internal well-being services. Referrals will also bridge to additional counseling resources through LifeWorks.
LifeWorks for USC, an affiliate partner, provides a broad diversity of counseling specialties, languages, race/ethnicities, and genders. WorkWell staff may also assist employees in navigating their health plans to access long-term therapy.
