Walk On with WalkUSC!
WalkUSC is an on-campus and remote program led by volunteer faculty and staff aimed at creating a culture of movement and social connection through group activity. If you’re looking to improve your health, get outside, and connect with colleagues across campus and remotely, consider joining a weekly event to walk, roll, or move in any way you prefer with WalkUSC!
This program is open to all eligible individuals. The WorkWell Center operates all of its programs and activities consistent with the University’s Notice of Non-Discrimination. Eligibility is not determined based on race, sex, ethnicity, sexual orientation, or any other prohibited factor.
Upcoming Themed Walks!
Join WalkUSC’s Gratitude Walk with walk leaders Lorena Duran and Samantha Graves on Monday, January 12 from 12:30 – 1pm. Meet at Tommy Trojan at UPC.
As you create your New Year’s resolutions, please remember that a handful of studies suggest that scientifically designed practices to increase gratitude can improve people’s health and encourage them to adopt healthier habits (Greater Good in Action, 2018). Join us for a gratitude walk where we will have three stops designed to appreciate personal acts of perseverance, influential loved ones, and the beauty around us.
