Ingredients:
- Beef chuck, boneless: 3 lbs
- Onions, peeled, diced: 1 large onion
- Garlic, minced: 2 cloves
- Olive oil: 6 tbsp
- Salt: 2 tsp
- Black pepper: 1 tsp
- Water: 1/4 cup
Directions:
- Cut the beef into pieces.
- Heat olive oil in a large pan over high heat. Brown the beef pieces. Then, remove them and set aside.
- Cook the onions in the same pan until translucent.
- In a large pan or pot, layer half of the browned beef pieces, salt, and black pepper with half of the sautéed onions and garlic.
- Repeat step 4 to create a second layer.
- Add the water to the meat and place the lid on top. Place the pan or pot onto the cooktop and bring it to a boil. Cook until the meat is fully cooked through.
