Ingredients:
- White rice, uncooked: 3 oz
- Large shrimp, peeled and deveined: 2 oz
- Clams: 3 oz
- Carrots, sliced: 1 oz
- Ginger, thinly sliced: 1 tbsp
- Soy sauce: 1 tsp
- Salt and pepper: 1/4 tsp
- Water: 3 cups
Directions:
- Add water to a pot over medium-high heat. Once boiling, add the rice and reduce the heat to medium-low.
- Cover pot and simmer for about 20 minutes. Add the shrimp and clams.
- Stir the porridge for about 5-10 minutes.
- Add the carrots and ginger. Stir until cooked through then switch off the flame.
- Serve with soy sauce, salt, and pepper.
