Lean Taco Meat

Equipment: frying pan, spatula


Ingredients:

  • ¼ cup beef bone broth 
  • 14 ounces of 97/03 lean ground beef  
  • 4 tablespoons of taco seasoning  
  • Drizzle of habanero hot sauce (optional) 

Directions:

  1. Heat frying pan on medium-high heat and add bone broth.  
  2. Add lean ground beef to pan and sauté until meat is fully cooked and completely brown.  
  3. Add taco seasoning to the meat.  
  4. Serve with a drizzle of habanero hot sauce (optional) and enjoy!  

Variations:

  • Use vegetable broth instead of beef broth. 
  • Use tofu instead of ground beef to make the dish plant-based.

Notes:

  • Store in a sealed container for no longer than 2 days. 
  • Reheat in the microwave for 1 minute.

Savings Tip:

  • Buy frozen ground beef that is cheaper and lasts longer instead of fresh ground beef.
