Sizzling Mushrooms

  • 8 ounces white mushrooms 
  • 1 medium yellow onion  
  • 3 tablespoons of sour cream 
  • 1 tablespoon of butter 
  • 1 teaspoon garlic salt 
  • 1 teaspoon sweet paprika 
  • 1 teaspoon marjoram 


  1. Slice mushrooms and dice onion into ½ inch cubes. 
  2. Melt butter in the frying pan and add mushroom to the melted butter.   
  3. Cook mushrooms for about 2 minutes, then add onion and spices and sauté onion until it is translucent. 
  4. Add sour cream to the mixture and keep it on medium heat for an additional 3 minutes. 
  5. Add seasonings and herbs and serve.  


  • You can use dry basil or oregano as well. 


  • This dish can be served as a side on its own or with flat bread.
