Ingredients:
- 1 container of sliced shiitake mushrooms
- 1 teaspoon of extra virgin olive oil
- 2 tablespoons of beef bone broth
- ¼ teaspoon Trader Joe’s umami spice blend
- Crushed red pepper flakes (optional)
Directions:
- Heat up a frying pan and add extra virgin olive oil.
- Add mushrooms to the pan and sauté for 2 mins on medium heat.
- Add beef bone broth, coconut aminos, and umami spice and sauté for a few more minutes.
- Once cooked, garnish with red pepper flakes and enjoy!
Variations:
- Use avocado oil in place of extra virgin olive oil.
- Use vegetable broth instead of beef bone broth to make the dish plant-based.
Notes:
- Store in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 5 days.
- Reheat in the microwave for 30 seconds.
